I got to know Allan when he was a member of DW gym in Halifax. Allan was a true gentleman, he made me aware of his diagnosis and I tried , whenever he can in and I was working, to spend a little time chatting to him and hearing of all those events occasions and travels his work had taken him on. I have only tonight found this web page 19/2/23 whilst watching the Baftas and again thinking of Allan, as i quite often do. Its very sad to know that Allan passed away and i didn't know until now. Rest in peace Allan, you were a lovely genuine man and your legacy will live on x
